Het Ubbink BioPressure 6000 vijverfilter met ingebouwde UV-C unit zorgt ervoor dat het water in uw vijver snel weer helder wordt (in combinatie met de aanbevolen Ubbink vijverpomp).
BioPressure filters zijn verkrijgbaar met 4 verschillende vermogens, zowel als basis sets met alleen het filter en als 'plus'-sets die inclusief pomp zijn. Dit BioPressure filter kan worden gebruikt voor vijvers met een inhoud tussen de maximaal 3.000 liter (met vissen) en 6.000 liter (zonder vissen). Zoals de naam aangeeft gaat het water onder druk door het BioPressure filter heen. Dit houdt in dat het mogelijk is om water tot een hoger niveau op te pompen, bijvoorbeeld voor een waterval of stroompje, maar ook dat het filter niet kan overlopen of barsten wanneer het op een lager niveau geïnstalleerd is, of zelfs wanneer het onder het waterniveau geïnstalleerd is.
Het drukfilter kan een druk van 0,49 bar weerstaan. De speciale verzegeling verzekert de integriteit van het filter zelfs onder veeleisende omstandigheden. De gelaagde filtermat voorkomt blokkades en verwijdert mechanisch vuildeeltjes uit het water. Het filter kan snel worden schoongemaakt, zelfs wanneer het wordt gebruikt, met de handige en makkelijk te gebruiken slib-afvoerkraan.
